LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is looking for more donors to give blood.

Currently, UNL is trailing Wisconsin in the Big Ten’s We Give Blood drive .

The winner of the drive gets $1 million toward their university.

Last year, UNL won the event and used the money to invest in student health.

To have your donation count, you can log it on the Big Ten’s donation page . Lincoln has three locations that are participating in the drive, and Omaha has five.

If you’ve given blood since August 27, you can still put your name toward the race.
