A murder arrest has been made by police after a teenage girl died at a house in Tameside on Sunday (September 21).
Police began investigating the disappearance of Catherine, who had been reported as missing from Ashton-under-Lyne in the early hours of Saturday (September 20). GMP have not released her full name.
The 17-year-old had last been seen in the Queen's Road area at around 2.20am. Enquiries led police to a property on Whalley Close at around 9am the following day, where a girl tragically died at the scene.
