Millsaps freshman quarterback Grant Bizjack tossed his way to being named Southern Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week with 352 passing yards in the Majors’ 41-19 win over Hendrix on Saturday.
The SAA announced its weekly slate of honors Monday with Bizjack earning the nod for the first time in his young career. Against the Warriors, he was 26 of 36 passing with five touchdowns and added 64 yards on the ground. His five scores through the air are tied for third in a single game in program history and his 416 total yards is sixth.
