Detectives are continuing to search for a gunman after a man was blasted in the foot in a horror shooting in Gorton .

The victim, aged 22, escaped with what police described as a 'graze' with no serious injuries reported after the early hours gun attack on Wayland Road.

Armed police raced to the scene of the incident at around 12.15am on Saturday (September 20) and found a bullet in the victim's shoe.

In an update on Monday (September 22), Greater Manchester Police confirmed no arrests have been made and that the suspect remains at large.
