HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Officials say the city of Carmi, along with White County, will soon host an electronics recycling event for Carmi and White County residents only.

Officials say this will be on September 27, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at 520 North 3rd Street in Carmi. According to officials, CJD E-Cycling is requiring some safety procedures. Materials to be recycled must be in the hatchback area or trunk of the vehicle. Items placed in passenger seats or back seats will not be accepted. All small loose electronics, cables, cords, remotes and other related items must be bagged and tied closed.
