EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) -- An investigation is under way after a Cuyahoga County sheriff's special deputy-involved shooting happened Monday afternoon in East Cleveland.
Officials said the special deputy, who was working a security job in East Cleveland, was in a portable restroom when it was tipped over.
A few moments later, the special deputy was able to crawl out and saw a man standing near him, pointing a gun. The special deputy fired a shot and the man took off. It is not known if anyone was injured.
