LINCOLN HEIGHTS – Police are investigating a shooting in Lincoln Heights that left one woman wounded.
Los Angeles Police Department officers from the department’s Hollenbeck Division responded around 11:16 p.m. Sunday to Lacy Street Community Park near Avenue 26 and Lacy Street regarding reports of a shooting with a victim down.
When they arrived at the scene, the officers found a woman who had been shot by an unknown assailant, according to an LAPD spokesperson.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.
There was no suspect information.
