WYOMING – A natural gas pipeline fire in southern Wyoming was reported to be visible from miles away in Colorado, according to officials.

Multiple callers reported seeing explosions along Interstate 80 west of Cheyenne around 1:00 a.m. yesterday. The Laramie County Fire District 10 confirmed the incident involved a Union Pacific Railroad train carrying hazardous materials, which was near the ignited pipeline.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the original fire. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries or fatalities.
