New York Giants starting running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. may miss significant time after suffering a dislocated shoulder early in Sunday night's loss to Kansas City, ESPN reported Monday.

The play happened with 1:39 left in the first quarter as Tracy was running toward the sideline and got walloped between two defenders. He laid nearly motionless, tapping his left arm when trainers rushed over to him. He was helped off the field and was spotted holding his left arm.

Tracy did not return, finishing the 22-9 loss to the Chiefs with 29 yards on seven carries along with two catches for 7 yards.

"It's tough when you see a guy like Tracy, one of your star running backs, go down with a shoulder on the sideline," Giants quarterback Russell Wilson said after the game.
