Cops discovered Emad Ali’s corpse 388 kilometres from his Toronto home.

Ali, 31, had vanished from the streets of the big city on Oct. 7, 2022. Oddly, it was Sudbury Police who raised the alarm in a bulletin in January 2023, stating they were worried about Ali’s safety.

And they had good reason to be concerned. On April 14, 2023, police said detectives located Ali’s remains in a wooded area off Dryden Rd. in Wahnapitae First Nations, just northeast of the city.

Two months after Ali’s disappearance, two more bottom dwellers in the criminal milieu were taken off the board in spectacular fashion.

The venue was Sudbury’s Travelodge Hotel on Paris St. On Dec. 20, 2022, Javon Bryce, 27, and Matthew Saroka, 38, were shot to death execution-style at the no-tell motel.
