Holladay Properties plans to invest $5 million in new industrial space in Michigan City.

The South Bend-based developer plans to build the Aldridge Building at 6101 Cleveland Ave. to lure new industrial buildings to town.

The speculative 54,000-square-foot building will be built with no tenants lined up in advance. It’s directly west of the Haskell Building just off U.S. 30.

“Holladay continues to invest in our city and county, and this space will provide a facility to attract new light manufacturing/assembly businesses and bolster our competitive edge,” Economic Development Corporation, Michigan City Executive Director Clarence Hulse.
