FRONT ROYAL — The annual Friends of Samuels Library (FOSL) book sale is a great way to snag a deal on a great book while supporting the library.

FOSL President Sydney Patton said the fundraiser earned $8,000.10 last year — 10 cents over its goal — and has set its sights on raising $10,000 for Samuels in 2025.

“We have a hefty goal, but I think we can do it,” she said.

Patton said that the book sale will kick off with a special preview for FOSL members on Thursday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Members also receive 20% off their purchases, she said, adding that memberships will be available for purchase at the door, granting admission for new members.

The sale continues Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m to 4:30 p.m. each day. It concludes Monday, open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a name your price day, P
