BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The holiday season is coming, and Bedford County Toys for Tots is preparing to make sure children wake up to gifts under the tree.

Sign-ups for families in need are scheduled throughout November, giving parents and guardians the chance to register children up to age 14 for Christmas assistance. Organizers say applicants must live in Bedford County, show proof of residency, and provide original forms of identification for adults and children. Copies and photos will not be accepted.

The first sign-up will take place Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bedford Library, with additional dates at locations in Loysburg, Hyndman, Everett, and Saxton. The final sign-up is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 14, at the Bedford Library.
