BELTON, Texas (KWTX) – Former Belton High School teacher Pietro Victor Giustino, 39, was arrested Monday by the U.S. Marshals Task Force in Bexar County, according to City of Belton officials.

Authorities said Giustino is facing state criminal charges of invasive visual recording involving several female high school students in the classroom.

Giustino also faces a separate federal case on child pornography charges. He was arrested by the FBI on July 18. That case does not involve local students, but the investigation led to the discovery of 13 cellphone videos, which were shared with Belton police to identify and notify victims’ families and to pursue any applicable state charges, officials said.
