GODERICH – Alexandra Marine and General Hospital is expanding access to mammogram appointments in response to the growing number of individuals newly eligible for breast cancer screening under recent provincial policy changes.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, emphasizing the importance of early detection. A recent press release from the hospital states that regular mammograms are one of the most effective tools for identifying breast cancer at its earliest and most treatable stages.
