BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A Cropwell woman has been sentenced after pleading guilty to multiple felony charges related to taking a 4-year-old to perform sexual acts for a man.
Amy Floyd Morgan was sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to first degree human trafficking, facilitating travel of a child for an unlawful sex act, and two counts of conspiracy to commit sexual abuse of a child under 12.
Morgan was given a 25-year sentence on the human trafficking and facilitating travel charges and 20 years for each conspiracy count.
Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey said Morgan and Rama Ray “Sonny” Erramraju were arrested and indicted back in 2017.
Morgan was formally charged with taking a 4-year-old girl to a hotel in Oneonta for sexual contact with Erramraju.
