While speaking on stage at Charlie Kirk ‘s memorial over the weekend, President Donald Trump teased that he was about to announce “an answer to autism.”
Well, he just made the announcement and experts are noting that the claims are “unproven.”
Joined by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at the White House on Monday (September 22), Trump claimed that using Tylenol during pregnancy “can be associated with a very increased risk of autism.”
The FDA will be recommending that doctors tell pregnant women to stop using acetaminophen, unless medically necessary.
“With Tylenol, don’t take it! Don’t take it,” Trump said . “And if you can’t live, if your fever is so bad, you have to take one, because there’s no alternative to that.”
