LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The honors continue for Red Raider football. After dominating Utah in the trenches in a 34-10 win on Saturday, Texas Tech’s defensive linemen reaped the benefits Monday earning the title as “Big 12 Defensive Line of the Week”.

Last Saturday, the Red Raiders defense held Utah’s offense to 101 yards, 189 less than what the Utes had averaged per game this season. Tech’s win in the trenches also came against an offensive line believed by many to be among the best in the country.

Utah quarterback Devon Dampier, who also came in the game as the Ute’s leading rusher, was held to 27 yards on the ground.
