Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has missed out on securing an official meeting with United States President Donald Trump during his time New York for the United Nations General Assembly.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has confirmed President Trump will hold bilateral meetings this week with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European Union boss Ursula von der Leyen.
The US leader will also sit down with Argentina’s President Javier Milei, as well as leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.
This means, according to President Trump's current schedule, Mr Albanese has appeared to miss out on nailing down an bilateral meeting with the US leader while in New York this week.
