SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A man was shot in the hip Monday morning in south Sacramento County, officials said.
Emergency medical services were dispatched around 10:41 a.m. to Jack N. Sheldon Park on Orange Avenue in the Florin area.
The man had non-life-threatening injuries and was being transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to dispatch radio communications.
The shooter poses no danger to the public. No suspect was available to the public at this time, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said.
