FRISCO, Texas – Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer announced on Monday that WR CeeDee Lamb will miss some time with a high ankle sprain.
Schottenheimer did not put an exact timetable on how long Lamb would be out, but seems optimistic that he can recover fast, although he likely won't play on Sunday against the Packers.
"CeeDee is a guy that heals quickly, and he'll do everything in his power to get back but it does look like he'll miss a little bit of time." Schottenheimer said.
Lamb's injury occurred in the first quarter of Dallas' Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, where he lined up as a running back and took a handoff.
As he tried to turn the corner, Lamb was tackled awkwardly and came out of the game. In retrospect, Schottenheimer still had no regrets for using his
