DENVER (KDVR) — Fall kicked off at 12:19 p.m. Monday and marked the start of a cooler and wetter pattern moving into Denver's weather.
A winter weather advisory will go into effect at midnight, then continue through 6 p.m. Tuesday as snow levels will drop as low as 9,000 to 10,000 feet.
Mountain passes could become slick with a light coating of snow, and up to 3-8 inches of snowfall will accumulate above 9,000 feet.
Weather tonight: More showers, mountain snow
Rain and a few thunderstorms continue Monday evening, and into the overnight. Low temperatures will be cool, but seasonal and fall to the upper 40s.
