A 13-year-old boy was shot in the head Monday morning in Queens, according to officials.

Police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. on Linden Boulevard in Cambria Heights.

According to police, he was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

It’s unclear what led up to the violence, and there is no word of any arrests, officials said.
