Four people were detained Sunday night as police investigated a road rage incident near US 60 and Dobson Road, officials said.

Mesa police received a call Sept. 21 from a caller who said a person in another vehicle had pointed a gun and then that car left the area, according to a release.

Officers found the suspected car that had four people inside. They were detained.

No one was injured.

Arizona Department of Public Safety was called, and troopers worked to control traffic as the investigation took place.
