Herschel Anthony “Tony” Hearn, 89, of Florence, S.C., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at the McLeod Hospice House.

Tony was born in Hagan, Ga., a son of the late Herschel Johnson and Elizabeth Fowler Hearn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1958-1961. Tony was the Owner/Manager of Sportlanes Bowling Inc. in Kinston, N.C. and the Owner/Partner of Harrell-Hearn Inc in Charlotte, N.C. He was a former member of St. Andrews UMC in Charlotte and a member of Highland Park UMC in Florence, S.C. Tony was a member of the DAV and enjoyed golf, tennis, bowling, swimming and crossword puzzles. He loved to cheer on the Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Panthers.
