Mary Effie Young Bridges

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Mary Effie Young Bridges, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Mary was born on May 19, 1931, in Moreland, Georgia. She was the second of 9 siblings and survived by only 1, Charles Young of Newnan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Bridges, her grandson, Daniel Young Veale, her brothers – Bud (Giles Thomas), Jacob (Ann), Joe Jr. (Carolyn), and her sisters – Lucille Gordon (Ralph) and Sara Ruth Coggin (Asa). She is survived by her children – sons Alan Bridges and wife Connie, Joey Bridges and partner Beth Rupnow, and her daughter, Miriam Veale, all of Newnan.
