CHESAPEAKE, Va. — One person was displaced after a house fire in the Camelot section of Chesapeake Monday evening.

The fire in the 2800 block of Romaron Street, off Gust Lane near Deep Creek Boulevard, was reported at 5:20 p.m., according to the Chesapeake Fire Department. Firefighters responded and extinguished the fire, which was marked under control at 5:38 p.m.

The occupant, one adult, got out of the house before firefighters arrived and will be handling their own lodging arrangements.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
