Four teenagers were arrested after allegedly shooting at a deputy pursuing them over a stolen car, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred Friday afternoon when the agency was notified of a stolen vehicle near Wilson Ave. and St. Stephens Road.
The sheriff’s office said a deputy began to follow the stolen car when occupants in the vehicle allegedly opened fired once they realized they were being followed.
The officer then turned on his lights and chased the car until all of the inhabitants of the vehicle allegedly fled on foot.
The sheriff’s office said all of the individuals were arrested and identified as a 13-year-old, 14-year-old, 15-year-old and 17-year-old.
The 13-year-old juvenile, identified as the driver, was charged with attempted murder, recei
