IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — A long-term Idaho Falls employee from the Public Works Department died while on duty on Saturday, Sept. 20, according to a city spokesperson.

The city said emergency responders were called to the Wastewater Treatment Plant after being notified of a reported and apparent drowning.

The Bonneville County Coroner's Office on Monday said 67-year-old Frank Rogers died at the sewage treatment plant. The coroner told KTVB its unable to release any reports or Rogers' cause of death due to the investigation.

An Idaho Falls spokesperson said there is no indication of foul play.
