SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The city of Sioux City has penned a deal with interim city manager Mike Collett that will have him continue serving in that role through 2026. The city’s search for a replacement for Bob Padmore, who retired as city manager in April, will resume after the city’s 2027 budget is finalized next spring.

In August, Craig Clark, the city manager candidate that the city extended a job offer to, declined the offer.

The terms of the deal struck with Collett were spelled out in city documents. The terms include a fixed salary of $9,230 paid every two weeks through April 30th, 2026.
