JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) - Jackson police are investigating after one person was killed during a shooting.

Interim Jackson Police Chief and Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said the shooting occurred in the 300 block of Beechcrest Drive on September 22, 2025. The victim has not been identified.
