For Geraldton’s Addison Orr, the path back to motocross glory has been paved with grit, patience and sheer determination.

The talented 15-year-old rider nicknamed “Beans” will again represent Western Australia at the 2025 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championships in Gillman, South Australia this month — a remarkable achievement given the year she has endured.

Earlier this season, Addison’s campaign was thrown into chaos when a crash at the opening round of the WA State Titles left her sidelined with injury.

It meant months away from the bike, long stretches of rehabilitation, and the frustration of watching from the pits instead of competing.
