HARTFORD, Conn. — Despite a violent weekend in Hartford involving multiple shootings, police reported Monday that the amount of shootings in the city this year is still low compared to previous years.

Police said officers found a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound around 1:33 p.m. Saturday in the area of Wethersfield Avenue.

Later that evening, just before 11 p.m., a ShotSpotter notification alerted officers to the area of Barbour Street at Judson Street , where they found evidence of a shooting. Dispatch told police that a man in his 20s and a woman in her 40s arrived at Hartford Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said a third victim, a man in his 40s, arrived at St. Francis Hospital also with non-life-threatening injuries after the Barbour Street at Judson Street
