GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Green Bay Area Public School District is reviewing its new safety protocol at Monday night’s board meeting.
That new protocol, which went into effect on Monday, includes a new clear bag policy along with other measures designed to connect at-risk students with resources and help foster a sense of community for district families.
This, as district leaders reported, was another fight at Preble High School on Monday, along with an anonymous tip, regarding a student with a weapon.
That student was reportedly searched, and no weapon was found.
At Monday’s board meeting, members reviewed the changes and opened up the floor to comments from the community on what else can be done to ensure students’ safety.
“Guns do not belong in schools. What are we committed to doin
