SALISBURY — In a Friday release, Families First NC, Inc. announced Grace Knight as its new executive director.

“With deep roots in Salisbury and experience in human services both locally and in Liberia, West Africa, Knight brings a lifelong commitment to supporting families and youth,” the release said.

According to the release, she co-founded Sister Circle, a mentorship program for young girls in Salisbury that expanded internationally to provide leadership development, mental health support, community service and scholarships for underprivileged youth. Knight also previously worked with Families First in the Strengthening Families Program, supporting parents and youth impacted by the justice system.
