The Detroit Lions’ reputation as one of the boldest offensive teams in the league continues to grow stronger every passing game of coach Dan Campbell’s tenure.

The Baltimore Ravens were the latest team to experience the aggressive play calling the Lions showcase when a crucial fourth-and-two at midfield in Monday night’s primetime victory was played perfectly by Detroit.

Despite establishing a strong run game throughout the matchup, with under two minutes to go, the Lions chose to go play action and trust quarterback Jared Goff to throw a dime to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.

That’s exactly what they did, picking up 21 yards on a flawless connection, even though they only needed two yards to pick up the first down.
