BOISE — Boise State men’s basketball coach Leon Rice admitted that his initial reaction to seeing a photo of several of his players sporting University of Utah gear was one of disappointment. He added that even when he sees one of his friends sporting the gear of another school, he has a similar feeling.
But Rice said he never once questioned the commitment to the Broncos for any of the players seen in the photo which lit up a firestorm on social media over the weekend. They’ve proven that, the coach said, simply by staying with the Broncos’ program.
