We’re bringing in the first full day of fall with some early morning storms that will move south of the area by the morning commute.
Another round of storms is possible this afternoon, mainly south of I-80, though no severe weather is expected. Plenty of clouds will linger today, keeping highs in the 70s and low 80s.
A few more showers can’t be ruled out on Wednesday, with highs in the mid to low 70s.
The active start to the week will give way to dry and quiet conditions in the second half, allowing temperatures to climb back into the 80s by Friday and continue that way through the weekend.
