HILLSBORO, Ore. — Police in Hillsboro, Portland and Tigard are warning shoppers to be vigilant after discovering credit card skimming devices at four local stores this week.

The Hillsboro Police Department said that skimmers were found at Dollar Tree store locations across Washington County: 1297 Northwest 185th Avenue, 6215 Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway, and 2165 Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway.

Hillsboro police shared photos showing what the skimming devices look like and advised shoppers to watch for warning signs.

The Tigard Police Department said a customer discovered a skimmer at the 7-11 convenience store on 99W and Southwest Park Street at 12:42 a.m. on Sept. 21. The customer alerted an employee about it, who then removed the skimmer and called police. Surveillance video s
