Striding tall, strong, and confident, Gwen Foley doesn't move like someone who has lived nearly a century. She walks like someone who refuses to let time dictate her pace.
At 94, the tireless swim instructor reports for volunteer duty at Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation's Harman Pool six days a week. Gwen has been teaching adaptive swimming since 1981, with each lesson creating ripples that extend far beyond the water's edge.
