WINTERSVILLE — The Indian Creek and Harrison Central volleyball teams entered their match with both teams looking to snap a losing streak.
The Redskins had lost their last six matches going into the match up against the Huskies, while the visitors from Harrison County had dropped five straight.
Harrison Central won the first set to take the lead in the match, however, Indian Creek responded by winning the next three to win the match, 18-25, 25-17, 25-12, 25-19, Monday night at home on Coach D Court.
“We have not have had our momentum,” Indian Creek (4-10) head coach Crystal Hammack said. “We have struggled the last few weeks to find our groove. Tonight, we settled down, we played our set and we worked together.”
