Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has requested Wipro founder Azim Premji to permit limited vehicular movement through the company’s campus in Bengaluru as part of efforts to ease traffic congestion on the Outer Ring Road.

Officials said the measure could reduce congestion on adjoining stretches of the road by nearly 30 per cent, particularly during peak office hours.

The Chief Minister has sought cooperation from Wipro, noting that controlled access through the campus could provide significant relief to traffic in the area.
