UNC football is off to a brutal beginning with Bill Belichick .

Following blowout losses in each of their two games against Power 4 teams, including a 34-9 defeat at UCF in Week 4, the Tar Heels (2-2) enter their off week in a precarious situation.

“We'll take a look at not just this game but the first four weeks, address the errors we feel like need to be improved the most and work on those,” Belichick said after UNC’s loss in Florida.

“We'll do what we feel like we need to do to improve the team."

If history is any indication, UNC is unlikely to improve enough to be participating in the postseason. Going back to 1999, the Tar Heels have endured 11 seasons with multiple blowout losses (20 or more points), posting a losing record in 10 of those years.
