SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A Red Bluff man, 28-year-old Ricardo Gutierrez, received a 24-year prison sentence for the sexual exploitation of a child. U.S. District Judge Dena Coggins handed down the sentence, as announced by U.S. Attorney Eric Grant.
Gutierrez used four prepubescent children, including a toddler, to create sexually explicit videos in April 2024. He recorded these videos through Facebook Messenger.
The case came to light when a woman Gutierrez met on Tinder alerted law enforcement. Gutierrez had sent her an unsolicited photo of a clothed minor and asked if she had access to young girls. He also sent a 17-second video depicting an adult male involved in explicit conduct with a minor.
Between November 2023 and July 2024, Gutierrez distributed numerous child sexual abuse images
