Collingwood have delisted four players in the wake of their preliminary final exit on the weekend.
The Magpies crashed out of the finals after losing to Brisbane on Saturday night and wasted no time in making their first list moves.
Cult hero Oleg Markov, defender Charlie Dean, tall forward Ash Johnson and midfielder Fin Macrae have all been shown the door.
Markov, who also played for Richmond and Gold Coast, joined the club as pre-season rookie ahead of the 2023 season.
He became an instant fan favourite as he went on to feature in 23 games, including the grand final win over Brisbane.
But the 29-year-old managed just eight senior games this year with his last coming in Round 21.
