Born in Boston in 1970 and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Strati earned a History of Art degree from Ohio State, going on to build a career in technology through working for various startups, including Spotify, and forming his own user interface design consulting company. Simultaneously, Strati’s personal artwork of elegant sculptures formed from packing tape and wire, and of intricate ink drawings resembling fantastical architectural renderings, circuit boards, or technical drafting plans was represented by several galleries and widely exhibited.
