Jimmy Kimmel may be heading back to ABC after his week-long suspension, but not everyone will be able to see his return tonight (Tuesday, September 23) as one ABC affiliate, Sinclair Broadcast Group, is not backing down over their desire to have Kimmel off-air. On Monday, Disney released a statement saying that after discussions with the late-night host, Jimmy Kimmel Live! would be reinstated. However, Sinclair made their own announcement saying that his show would remain “preempted” on the channels they are in control of.
