Coronation Street star Gareth Pierce has teased "peril" for his character Todd Grimshaw amid his coercive control plot. ‌

Soap fans will recall that Todd first encountered scaffolder Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) in March, with the duo quickly forming a connection. ‌

It subsequently emerged that Theo was previously married to a woman called Danielle ( Natalie Anderson ), and the former pair share two children together. Once Theo's romance with Todd came to light, he found himself shunned by his loved ones. ‌

Adding insult to injury, Danielle started dating Noah Hedley (Richard Winsor), who had previously subjected Theo to conversion therapy during his youth.
