PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A man died late Monday night after a shooting in Northeast Portland, authorities said.

Just after 11 p.m., Portland police said they responded to shooting reports near Northeast 102nd Avenue and Northeast Sandy Boulevard.

When they arrived, police said they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds who was later declared dead at the scene.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Portland police.

While investigating, authorities said that Northeast 102nd Avenue was closed north of Northeast Sandy Boulevard.
