RIVERDALE, The Bronx (PIX11) -- A rogue MTA bus rolled backwards and slammed into an apartment building in the Bronx late Monday night, according to police.
The driver parked the articulated bus near 6629 Broadway in Riverdale around 10:45 p.m. on Monday, authorities said.
As the operator turned the bus off and walked away, it began rolling backwards until it hit the corner of an apartment building on the street, officials reported.
It's unclear whether anyone was injured as a result of the rogue bus, but CitizenApp video showed the intersection blocked off as a result.
Police are still investigating the incident and how it may have happened.
